Work visas for nurses.

Health and technology workers dominate the numpers of foreingners entering Australia on temporary work visas.

Responding to Labor questions yesterday, Immigration Minister Amanda Vanstone outlined the breakdown of foreing nationals approved to work in Australia on temporary or "457" visas.

Senator Vanstone said, 2005-06 visa grants to principal applicants includet 2530 registeret nurses,  2270 computing professions,  1430 business and information professions, 980 general medican practitioners and 960 chefs.
