For those who came to the very first 'club finnmix'
night on Sat 26 Feb, I'd like to say 'kiitos paljon'
[thanks heaps!] for supporting this new event.
Because of you, it was a great night. We estimated about 20 - 40 people and we got 53 through the door, which was fantastic! We appreciate your support and trust you enjoyed yourself and meet some new people too.
For those of you who missed it, we enjoyed a relaxed, friendly night out on the lovely outdoor deck of the Surfers RSL. DJ Marty mixed a wide variety of new finn music for us, while we enjoyed some tasty food to nibble on with affordable drinks + special 'club finnmix' vodka cocktails that some people were keen to try out!
A few people asked us about the finn music we played and if you can buy finnish CDs here in Australia. I will investigate this for us and if I receive any news, will email you all to let you know. If anyone else has any leads, pls let me know!
While there is no current news on the next 'club finnmix' gathering, stay tuned as we have email & postal address for those interested.

Mette sanoi että JB HI-FI -shopin mainoksessa ainakin komeilee suomalaisen hevy bändin Nighwishin albumin mainos. Luulen että HIM:in, The Rasmusen, Daruden ja Bomfunkin albumeita löytyy isommista musiikki kaupoista.

Nightwish on tulossa keikalle Brisbaneen parin viikon päästä (Arenaan), en ole ottanut selvää kun en ole suuri fani, mutta arvatenkin käyvät muissakin kylissä kun tänne päin ovat kerran lähteneet.
